Marjory opted for the matured Cape blend, giving John his first taste of quality South African wine. Augustus the Afrikaans term for August, is the final month before the new vines are planted, Luke and Sarah joined the two for a cosy glass of Red.

A glass or two of the Klein Karoo's finest Port later got them thinking, that this 351 year wine making tradition should be taken to the world, just as the Dutch East India Company had planned when they began wine making in the Cape of Good Hope in 1659.
